This wine, as it is produced, has great ageing potential.

Colheita 1970: ROBERT PARKER RATING: 94 POINTS (2022)
"The 1970 Colheita Tawny Port Vista Alegre, a field blend from old vines, was bottled in February 2021 with a bar-top cork and 153 grams of residual sugar. Showing its age, this has very mature fruit but also the smooth and unctuous texture of a concentrated old Tawny. It finishes with a mixture of molasses and sugar. While the fruit might be a little past prime, the complexity and nuance were still admirable, and the acidity dribbles the sugar over the finish. Overall, this is still a fine experience that is easy to adore, and it´s pretty delicious too."
Colheita 1996: “AWC VIENNA 2016” Gold Medal (October 2016/Austria)
