WinemakingGrapes from a single harvest are hand picked and transported in small boxes and vinified in accordance with the traditional method for port. After partial destemming, the grapes are crushed in stone tanks by foot. Fermentation of the must takes place under controlled temperature and it is stopped by the addition of brandy. This wine, as it is produced, has great ageing potential.
StageWine of a single harvest, aged in oak casks for a minimum period of 7 years. The year of bottling is indicated on the back label.
ConsumptionCan be served with coffee and chocolates. Best served with desserts like: crème brulée, fruit tarts and, also others made with chocolate, dried fruit and nuts and caramel. It should be served at a temperature between 10°C and 12°C.
conservationKeep bottle standing at a constant temperature and protected from strong light. Consume preferably in 6 to 8 weeks after opening.
